Interesting facts about me
" That's the trouble when my mind is left on it's own it just goes to a very dirty place. You do it with your mind too, safety words
"banana". Craig quote 11/2008 Loved this it describes my mind sometimes but I can't say it out loud.
Hey hey! Hope the rest of your week is going much better. Any Memorial Day plans? Yes, Craigers makes me happy because he's so zany. No one else can pull
off the adorable madness that he pulls. Bah, I just wish that Randy jerk hadn't ruined my enjoyment of the Craig concert I went to in January. Ah, I never
realized just how big Kansas must be. Do people in Kansas have any sort of accent? Rock on to you! BTW, T.Rex has a song called "Rock On." I was
trying to introduce T.Rex to a friend of mine and she said, "Didn't you tell me you went to see them in concert?" Sounds like something I'd
say, but um, no. (She was thinking of Ok Go.) Anyway, a little Marc Bolan singing "Rock On" for your holiday weekend enjoyment:

Hey Tempe I'm just staying home for the weekend I have to get my whole house clean inside and out clean for next Sunday's grad party for my oldest son
Ben who graduates this Tuesday. Can't believe he's graduating all ready and it comes at you so fast you think your ready then bam it's the week
of. It doesn't help that I have been sick off and on and no one has wanted to help me with anything so it's going to be a long week for me I just
hope I can't get most of the list done before next Sunday. The outside of my house and upstairs isn't that bad it's the basement that's the
worst luckily it's only two rooms that are the worst so I just have to bite the bullet and get it done that's proving to be the hard part since I am
easily distracted and want to put it off but I can't now and it will be worth it in the end. As far as a Kansan's accent Kristi Alley and Robert
Gate's the defense secretary come from Doda(Wichita) and still have that Kansas twang to their voice it's what I have been told a nasally voice as they
say we speak through our nose and it must be true because when I have a head cold my voice is very different. T Rex's song "Get it on bang a
gong" is my favorite still but I am open to a new one though. I need to get something to grill the neighbors are driving me crazy with all the smells of
the grill drifting through the air so I must feed my grilling/pyro monster so I don't go crazy this weekend. Well I need to go get something done I over
slept this morning and I am behind on everything . Have a great weekend and don't wear yourself out. Love and Peace to all, Alicia
Hey girl,
Bah! No wonder you're frustrated. Lot's of little things building up on you. No fair. Glad I could lend an ear for you to vent to. I like to just
listen and let people express their feelings. More people need to be intuned to stuff like that. Sorry for all those annoying things. Sorry that that dentist
got greedy. I can't believe he'd nitpick for just $7. What kind of a businessman is he?! Dentistry is a business but no one at school teaches you how
to properly do it. That being said, he could have at least understood it from your point of view as a good customer who shouldn't be nickled and dimed.
When I had my braces done, I finished treatment about 8 months earlier than planned. My orthodontist still tried to have my mom pay for the 8 months. Up till
that point, she felt she was good friends with the guy. He did her braces and they always used to discuss each other's families. I mean, you have to choose
your battles as a business person and realize when it comes down to loyalty vs money. Seesh! Ah, your poor husband. Guys are always like that even as little
kids. They don't bother to take care of stuff till it hurts. I hope he did get that tooth fixed though. How can you really get over seeing car accidents?
People can be so insensitive! And speaking of insensitive, that dentist's receptionist could have shown more tact. Um yeah, the recession is hitting us all
hard. But $7? Come on! He can't even think how much down the road he would make up for by keeping a good customer like you. Bah! I just wish there were a
way to teach people tact and sense in dental school. Oh, as for my thoughts on silver vs. white fillings. It depends on the patient, what their needs are vs.
their wants and coming to a good agreement of the two. If the silver filling is in perfect condition and the tooth is healthy, I prefer to keep things as they
are. But if it really bothers the patient or they notice it when they talk or smile, then I'd explain to the patient the pros and cons, and replace it with
white. Silver really doesn't have bad health effects because once it's placed in a tooth it hardens. It's liquid mercury that's toxic. I've
got classmates in their 20s with gold in their mouths and love it! lol Gold is actually still the best most biocompatible material for fillings. Haha, now
I'm going on and on about materials. I wish I could refer you to one of my girlfriends who's a dentist in KS. But she's working right now at a
clinic in Emporia. She hates it and wants to come back to Kansas City, but she's still looking into how to make that feasible since she's got a 2 year
contract in Emporia. Anyway if you've got any questions, just let me know. Or if you need a good vent, I'm here for ya. Have a lovely night's sleep
filled with dancing puppets and lipsynching Craigs *hugs* Tempe Original comment »

Thanks Tempe if you get tired of being a Dentist you can go into therapy your awesome and made me feel so much better. I forgot to tell you that my former
dentist also charged a late fee of $10 if you didn't pay within a month of receiving your bill another stick it to you greedy ploy he used and on top of
that he was recommended by my in laws who went to church with him. It seems you and your Mom had the same experience it's just too bad people turn that
way in the end over money of all things which is linked to greed one of many deadly sins you know. No wonder companies are going under left and right everyone
has lost the plot here it's not about just money but loyalty and return customers you know. Wish your friend was just a little further south and I would
go see her just on your praise for her too bad she is stuck somewhere she doesn't want to be. Thanks again your awesome I usually muddle through the day
on an emotional calmness but some days it just gets to me and the tears begin to flood over me and thankfully you, Craig, and the yuku's here send your
love and laughter so I don't fall too far down the well of sadness. Craig is so fun to watch and relate to except I've never acted besides elementary
school plays, got my High School Diploma and a year of college but Craig has more book smarts than I do but his stories relate to so many unlike the Harvard,
Ball, and whatever other colleges the other late night host went too. Man I hope Craig renews his contract with CBS or I will turn into a basket case.
Rock on, Alicia
Wow, fancy digs! Your page is really pretty, alicia! Just the thing to chase the winter blahs. I feel really bad you guys are freezing your tails off, but at least
we can all huddle together here, and warm ourselves over some glowing gleetardation! Glad you jumped board.

Thanks purple is my favorite color so thought I would try it out. Hey how did you change my reply last night after all the pictures didn't know you could
change someone elses reply? Totally understand just wish we could change the rules a little now that Craig is married my reply I thought was cute with your
"I feed the kids" ending. It's warming up here almost 30 now after single digits yesterday and no more snow but the wind makes it feel still
really cold.
Welcome to LateNightChatter, Alicia! I know you'll feel at home in no time.

Hey how cold is it at your house. It's going to be in the 30's here tomorrow but down to 8 tomorrow night. Time to watch Born Romantic and I'll
Be There to get warm fuzziness. Oh, and Regis and Craig singing "Marshmellow World" as I drink hot chocolate to stay warm. Keep Warm thoughts.
Your fellow frozen plains woman.
